We're working with the North Point Douglas Women's Centre (NPDWC) to produce a full afternoon of free entertainment for families at the Austin Street Festival on Friday, August 26. The stage will be set up at the corner of Austin Street and Lorne Avenue and the performances begin at 1:00 pm.

Fawn Wood, who we were unable to present in June because of rain, will headline the concert and we have Inuit electronic artist Geronimo Inutiq, rapper The Ra11n, and local rockers Gurlz Gurlz Gurlz on board for the show.

About the North Point Douglas Women's Centre

The NPDWC walks with women to strengthen their voice, make change, and engage in our community.

Their work focuses on meeting women where they are at and walking alongside them through the successes and challenges in their lives. They offer a variety of programs and supports that respond to needs identified by the community.
