Common Ground 2022
Common Ground 2022
We’re working with the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba (IRCOM) (opens in new tab) to build stronger relationships between Indigenous and newcomer families with a day-long celebration in Winnipeg’s Gord Dong Park on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
The event, entitled Common Ground, will include a free concert, free BBQ, face painting, and prizes for kids – and everyone is welcome to join us.
Rapper YK the Mayor; local DJ, The Kaptain; hoop dancers Kimberly and Charisma Mason; and Congo-born singer John Imanishimwe are set to take the stage, with the event running from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
