Common Ground 2023, sākihiwē summer continues
We're working with the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba (IRCOM) to build stronger relationships between Indigenous and newcomer families with a community celebration in Winnipeg's Gord Dong Park on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
The event, entitled Common Ground, will be anchored by three incredible dance performances and an exciting Métis fiddle set by Double the Trouble.
Everything begins at 2:00 pm, IRCOM is hosting a free BBQ, and we have a prize draw with scooters, mini basketball hoops, a signed jersey, and other items planned for 6:45 pm.
