sākihiwē summer at Anishinaabe Days 2024
We’re working with Treaty One to produce the talent contest for the annual Anishinaabe Days festival at the Naawi-Oodena site in Winnipeg. The festival runs July 27 and 28 and the Anishinaabe Idol contest is set for Saturday night.
The Joe Maxim Band will be backing up the contestants who include Taylor Gibson, Taylor Lavallee, Lakota Lacquette, David Daniels, Kaydi Robertson, Olivia McLeod, Kenzie Love, Ashlyn Packulak, Tanner Sutherland, and Derryl Sanderson.
Last year's Anishinaabe Idol winner, Treyson Sinclair, will also take the stage, and the winners will be picked by recording artists Cassidy Mann, Aaron Peters, and Tayller McKinney.
