Call for vendors, sākihiwē festival Round Dance

We're partnering with the Ode'imin Collective to host an Indigenous marketplace during our 3rd annual round dance at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on Saturday, January 25, 2025 and we encourage First Nation, Métis, and Inuit artisans and small businesses to apply.

Presented by True North Sports and Entertainment, the Winnipeg Aboriginal Sports Achievement Centre, the Candian Museum of Human Rights, and the West End Cultural Centre
Date: Saturday, January 25, 2025
Location: Canadian Museum for Human Rights, 85 Israel Asper Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba

3:00 PM: Doors open
4:00 PM: Pipe ceremony
5:00 PM: Feast
6:00 PM: First song
10:30 PM: Giveaway

The marketplace will run from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM; everyone will receive a load-in time between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM; the marketplace will be in the Manitoba Teachers' Society Classrooms A, B, and C on the main floor; each vendor will receive one table and one chair; booth sharing is not allowed; power is not available for vendors; and, the marketplace fee is $85 along with a donation of one item for the round dance giveaway.

Application deadline: January 4, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST

The Ode'imin Collective is collecting payment for each vendor. We'll be collecting the donations from each vendor at the round dance.
