Call for Indigenous vendors and artisans, sākihiwē festival 2025
We’re accepting applications from Indigenous vendors and artisans who are interested in selling their clothing and handmade goods during the 2025 edition of the sākihiwē festival in Winnipeg on June 28 and 29.
Inuit, First Nation, and Metis people are encouraged to apply.
Application Deadline: Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 11:59 pm CST
All applications must be submitted through our Google Form (linked below).

Invitations will be sent to successful applicants by email on Thursday, May 15.
The vendor fee will be $65/day and payments will be due on Thursday, June 19.
We can provide a 10x10 tent for up to 10 vendors (unfortunately tables, chairs, power, and Wi-Fi are not available). Security will be available in the marketplace.
Please note that vehicles are not allowed on the grass at these locations. Also note that tents must be weighted down and not spiked.
Turtle Island Block Party
Date: Saturday, June 28, 2025
Location: Turtle Island Neighbourhood Centre field, near 510 King Street in Winnipeg
Load-in for vendors: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Marketplace hours: 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Central Park Block Party
Date: Sunday, June 29, 2025
Location: Central Park, near 366 Qu’Appelle Avenue in Winnipeg
Load-in for vendors: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Marketplace hours: 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm
