Special Showcase Spot at Aboriginal Music Week 2012

Saturday Night 49er

Aboriginal Music Week 2012 just opened up a special showcase spot at the Pyramid Cabaret on Saturday, November 3. The lucky artist or band will receive an opportunity to perform at the Saturday Night 49er presented by NCI FM, which features LightningCloud, Joey Styles, and rock god Stevie Salas.

DEADLINE: 4pm CST on Tuesday, October 30, 2012

To be considered, you must:
1. Be a First Nation, Inuit, and Métis artists or bands.
2. Be able to perform a full 30-minute set of original music (or a full 90-minute DJ set).
3. Be in Winnipeg on Saturday, November 3, 2012.
4. Have your own backline (amps, drum kit, turn tables, etc).

A performance fee is not available.

If you would like to be considered for this showcase spot, please email the following information to alan@ammb.ca by 4pm CST on Tuesday, October 30:
1. Artist/Stage or Band Name.
2. Contact information (name, cell phone number, mailing address).
3. Link to a music video or performance video on YouTube or Vimeo.
4. A promotional photo.
5. Three MP3 versions of your most recent songs.

Aboriginal Music Week is produced by a small group of volunteers. The festival's Programming Committee will review all submissions on Wednesday and send the lucky artist or band an offer to participate by 10pm CST on October 31.
