With an eclectic taste and a knack for Roots inflected Rock and Roll, journeyman musician Derek Miller continues to forge ahead with his musical career. Having won numerous music awards in his career, including 2 Juno awards in Canada, Derek looks to his 5th solo album, a collaboration with the Smithsonian Institutes' 'Up Where We Belong' exhibit, that celebrates mainstream success from renowned Indigenous artists like Buffy Ste. Marie, Link Wray, Jimi Hendrix and Charley Patton to name a few.
