Stó:lō pop artist to perform and offer workshops

Inez Jasper is an award winning pop artist with powerhouse talent and universal appeal. As one of Canada’s top Aboriginal musicians, her blending of traditional Native sounds with cutting edge pop music brings the best of her culture to the mainstream world.

Jasper will be performing at the Aboriginal Music Week Stage presented by TD at Picnic in the Park on Saturday, August 23. She's also set to spend some quality time with young people during workshops set for August 21 at the Turtle Island Neighbourhood Centre and shortly after her concert on August 23.

The workshops will provide an opportunity for young people to interact with Jasper. We'll have a room dedicated to the workshops at Turtle Island Neighbourbood Centre on August 21 and a tent near the park entrance for the workshops on August 23.
