The Saturday Night Summer Jam

Aboriginal Music Week and kimiwan 'zine are partnering to bring Winnipeg one of the biggest parties of the summer. The Saturday Night Summer Jam will provide a full night on the dance floor, set to selections by local party legends Primetime Empyre, Opaskwayak's DJ Miss Vee, and DJ Javier Estrada of Generation Bass and Mad Decent. Native innovators, Mob Bounce, will be making their Winnipeg debut at the event, performing hip hop lyrics set to beats laden with traditional rhythms and vocal samples.

Be sure to tune into Rhythm 104.7FM in Winnipeg for your change to win tickets.

The Saturday Night Summer Jam will also include our ever-popular festival photobooth for free party portraits of our guests. Since we launched the booth in 2010, it has captured individual portraits, great moments between friends, and professionally lit shots of fans with their favorite artists.

The photos aren't mandatory- simply stand in front of the lights for your free session. The festival posts them online shortly after the event for everyone to share and enjoy.

Visit our Facebook page for more shots from our photobooth.
