call for submissions, sākihiwē festival 2019 | deadline: november 1 at 11:59 pm
aboriginal music manitoba (amm) is accepting submissions from indigenous artists for the 2019 edition of the sākihiwē festival. the festival is set for june 14-16, 2019 in winnipeg, manitoba, canada and the submission deadline is thursday, november 1, 2018 at 11:59 pm central time.
all submissions must be sent online through our google form. email, fax, and physical submissions will not be accepted.

amm presents first nation, metis, inuit, native american, and indigenous music artists and groups from turtle island and beyond. the presentation of female and non-binary artists is a priority for amm.
amm offers performance fees for all contracted artists along with accommodations, per diems, and a ground transportation allowance for performers from outside of manitoba. all contracted artists are responsible for transportation between their home and winnipeg.
