Call for Submissions and Updates, sākihiwē festival 2021
Aboriginal Music Manitoba (AMM) wants to hear from Indigenous artists who haven't performed at the sākihiwē festival and acts who want to update us on their recent accomplishments. Submissions and updates for the 2021 edition of the sākihiwē festival are now being accepted.
The festival will include a mix of live and online performances, which will be used in an online broadcast set for the end of August.
The submission deadline is Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:59 pm CST.
All submissions must be sent online through our google form. Email, fax, and physical submissions will not be accepted.
Please note that AMM can only present artists/groups who have at least 45 minutes of original music ready to perform.

AMM presents Inuit, Métis, First Nation, Native American, and Indigenous music artists and groups from Turtle Island and beyond. The presentation of female and non-binary artists is a priority for AMM.
AMM offers performance fees for all contracted artists along with accommodations, per diems, and a ground transportation allowance for performers from outside of Manitoba. All contracted artists are responsible for transportation between their home and Winnipeg.
