We're working with the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba (IRCOM) to build stronger relationships between Indigenous and newcomer families with a day-long celebration in Winnipeg's Gord Dong Park on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

The event, entitled Common Ground, will include a free concert, free BBQ, face painting, and prizes for kids and everyone is welcome to join us.

Rapper YK the Mayor; local DJ, The Kaptain; hoop dancers Kimberly and Charisma Mason; and Congo-born singer John Imanishimwe are set to take the stage and everything will run from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
