Billy Joe Green fundraiser, Friday, January 5
In the early hours of December 13, a fire destroyed the home of Anishinaabe bluesman Billy Joe Green. While firefighters were able to save some water logged guitars, most of his furniture and personal belongings were ruined.
After hearing the news, we teamed up with NCI FM to lend our friend Billy a helping hand.Join us for a fundraiser on Friday, January 5 at the West End Cultural Centre in Winnipeg.
The show starts at 7:00 PM, Billy's gonna hit the stage, we're inviting some incredible guests, and kids and Elders are more than welcome to attend. Tickets are $15 plus fees and all the profits go directly to Billy Joe.
