We're working with the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba (IRCOM) to build stronger relationships between Indigenous and newcomer families with a community celebration in Winnipeg's Gord Dong Park on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

The event, entitled Common Ground, will be anchored by a free concert, featuring performances by square dance champions United Thunder; hoop dancer Rylee Sandberg; teenaged DJ's Sierra, Fallen, and Und3adrat from the Spence Neighbourhood Association's DJ program; and, rappers Gully and Osani.

Everything begins at 2:00 pm; IRCOM will be serving free shawarma wraps at 4:00 pm; and we'll have a raffle draw for a Playstation 5 at 6:45 pm (tickets $2.00 each).
