Call for Applications, Website Content contract
We’re upgrading our website to make it more accessible and useful for audiences around the globe, and we need help with content updates. One part creative writing, one part data entry, the Website Content contractor will help us update our artist profile pages and add descriptions for images on every part of the sakihiwe.ca website (along with other accessibility updates).
Indigenous people living in Canada who are dedicated to building a career in the music industry are encouraged to apply.
Application Deadline
Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 11:59 PM CST
Apply here: Complete our online application form (opens in new tab)
Applications must be submitted through our Google Form (linked above). Email, fax, and printed applications will not be accepted.
Every image on the website will need an “alt text” description added to it, and the majority of the 239 artist profile pages on the sakihiwe.ca website will need to be updated. We’ll also need help testing the website on both computer screens and smartphones.
We estimate that everything will take 240 hours to complete, and we can offer the successful applicant $35 CAD/hour.
The contract will begin on December 2, 2024 and conclude on February 28, 2025.
All communications will be conducted in English.
