Jade Turner
A proud member of the Misipawistik Cree Nation, Jade was raised in Northern Manitoba, with an upbringing rooted in the art of storytelling. Her lyrics tell personal tales that range from serious topics to satirical ones, delivered with dynamic vocals that span from gritty and raw to spirited and energetic. In 2024, Jade became a semi-finalist in the 2024 Top of the Country with Sirius XM competition and recently received the Manitoba Music Kevin Walters Songwriter Award and the SOCAN Vince Fontaine Indigenous Song Award, along with four Manitoba Country Music Award nominations, bringing her total count to 27.
