Binesi Ikwéwag Singers
Binesi Ikwéwag Singers is an all Ikwé and Ikwé-identifying ceremonial drum group formed in July 2023. The group raising awareness about violence against Indigenous women and provides healing opportunites for those affected by acts of violence.
Binesi Ikwéwag Singers are highly involved in non-violent protests in the indigenous community.
The group also implements many matriarchal traditions and they work with Ikwé elders and youth.
