We're working with Tunngasugit, The Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq, and NCI FM to bring arctic soul and blues singer Joshua Qaumariaq to the Tunngasugit Inuit Resource Centre in Winnipeg's North End for a night of live music and family fun. Tickets are $10 (plus fees and taxes), doors open at 6:00 pm, and the music starts at 7:00 pm.

Joshua Qaumariaq brings arctic soul and blues from the depth of the northern tundra in a blend of Inuktitut and English lyrics.

7:00 PM: Tunngasugit Youth Throat Singers (30 minutes)
7:30 PM: Intermission (30 minutes)
8:00 PM: Joshua Qaumariaq (60 minutes)
9:00 PM: Prize draw

Accessibility at Tunngasugit

The concert will be held in the lower level of the Tunngasugit Inuit Resource Centre. The lower level can be accessed from an exterior door at 620 Selkirk Avenue (you don't need to use the main doors, which are located at 618 Selkirk Avenue) and there is a wheelchair lift available for anyone who can't walk up or down stairs.

Parking

Free parking is available on the public streets that surround the venue (paid parking ends at 5:30 PM). Unfortunately accessible spots are not available.
