Hashtag Indigenous Excellence: Mariame
We're launching a new blog series to shine a spotlight on some of the up-and-comers across the Indigenous music stratosphere. The Hashtag Indigenous Excellence posts will be published as much as humanly possible and they'll draw your attention to Indigenous excellence in music around the globe.
Our first Hashtag Indigenous Excellence feature artist is a Cree pop/R&B singer based in Montreal, Quebec named Mariame.
Mariame's music video for "As Long as You Are Here" just hit the Internet today. The song is the lead single from her debut EP entitled Bloom, which is set for a May 26 release on iTunes.
