The sākihiwē festival presents Don Amero at the 2021 Tkaronto Music Festival

The second annual Tkaronto Music Festival is set for May 21–23, and the sākihiwē festival is on board as the presenting partner for Don Amero’s performance on opening night. Everything will broadcast for free on Facebook and YouTube, and the full schedule is available at tkmf.ca.
Don Amero, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, is an engaging storyteller, singer-songwriter, and three-time JUNO Award nominee who has earned the respect and attention of the Canadian music industry and fans alike.
The Tkaronto Music Festival is produced by the 50/50 Performing Arts Collective and the 2021 festival will include performances by JUNO Award winners Celeigh Cardinal and George Leach; CBC Searchlight 2020 winner Shawnee; nine-time Grammy nominees Northern Cree; two-time Polaris Music Prize shortlisters Snotty Nose Rez Kids; and many others.
