Austin Street Festival 2025
We're working with the North Point Douglas Women's Centre to present Brandi Vezina, Tinge, the Mason Hoop Dancers, and youth from Studio 393 at the Austin Street Festival on Friday, August 22, 2025. The sākihiwē festival stage will be set up on the corner of Austin Street and Lorne Avenue and the NPDWC will have a free BBQ, activity stations for kids, community information stations, and portable toilets set up between Euclid Avenue and Selkirk Avenue from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

ACCESSIBILITY
Austin Street will be blocked off between Euclid Avenue and Selkirk Avenue. The street is paved with curbs on both sides of the street.
All activity stations, the BBQ service, and the sākihiwē festival stage will be on the street.
The sākihiwē festival stage will be near the corner of Austin Street and Lorne Avenue.
Accessible washrooms will be set up on Austin Street near Selkirk Avenue.
Parking is available on the public street near Austin Street. Unfortunately we don’t have dedicated parking spots available for vehicles that have a Manitoba Parking Permit for Persons with Disabilities.
