We're super proud to announce that we have renamed our annual round dance in memory of the late Honourable Murray Sinclair. The change is a collaborative effort with the Sinclair family to give community members an opportunity to remember, celebrate, and honor the legacy of a remarkable man, while singing, dancing, and socializing in that good way.
Our fourth annual round dance is set for Friday, January 23, 2026 in downtown Winnipeg and we're currently accepting applications from Indigenous vendors who are interested in selling their handmade beadwork, ribbon skirts/shirts, art, and accessories (t-shirt and apparel vendors are also welcome to apply).
We're working with True North Sports and Entertainment, the Winnipeg Aboriginal Sports Achievement Centre, the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, and the West End Cultural Centre to bring together our third annual round dance in Winnipeg on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
We're partnering with the Ode'imin Collective to host an Indigenous marketplace during our 3rd annual round dance at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on Saturday, January 25, 2025 and we encourage First Nation, Métis, and Inuit artisans and small businesses to apply.
We're working with the West End Cultural Centre and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (Museum) to host our second annual round dance. The free event is a part of Winteruption WPG and it's set for Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Museum, located at The Forks in Winnipeg.
