- Aboriginal Music Week fundraising social set for Friday, September 14 in Winnipeg The Fundraising Social will help the organization pay for everything and it's set for Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Crescentwood Community Centre (1170 Corydon Avenue) in Winnipeg. The evening will include a silent auction, performances by blues musician Billy Joe Green and hypnotist Scott Ward, and a light food service (cubed cheese, cold cuts, bread, chips, etc).

- A Tribe Called Red heading to Greece for WOMEX this year A Tribe Called Red has been selected to showcase at the prestigious WOMEX DJ Summit in Thessaloniki, Greece this year. This is a big deal because they'll be one of two Canadian acts participating in the official showcase priogram.
